Skoda India has launched the Karoq SUV at Rs.24.99Lakh. This is a five-seater fully loaded SUV with only petrol BS6 engine.

This SUV is heavily localised mid-size SUV based on MQB A0 IN platform under the India 2.0 project, the Karoq is brought into the country via CBU route just as its Volkswagen T-Roc cousin.
Skoda Karoq offered in six different paint schemes namely Candy White, Magnetic Brown, Lava Blue, Magic Black, Brilliant Silver and Quartz Grey.

Skoda Karoq SUV fully-loaded variant features includes panoramic sunroof, Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster, 17-inch alloy wheels, full-LED headlights, an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, configurable ambient lighting, full-LED headlamps and more. However, Skoda’s five-seat SUV does miss out on kit like wireless charging and cooled seats, which are available in more affordable SUVs.

In terms of safety kit, the Karoq comes packed with 9 airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, ESC, hill-start assist front and rear parking sensors and a rear parking camera.
The rival for Karoq is Jeep Compass – which in petrol-automatic form costs between Rs 19.69-21.92 lakh* – and the Volkswagen T-Roc Rs 19.99 lakh.
