Tata Gravitas 7-seater

After Tata Harrier 5-seater SUV, tata planning to launch 7-seater SUV The Tata Gravitas which showcased in Auto Expo 2020 and expected to launch in 2021.

The Gravitas is longer than Harrier with thrid row seats. It comes with BS6 2.0-litre engine with 170PS power and 350nm torque. There will be two transmission options, 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic. Tata is also working on 1.6-litre petrol engine for Gravitas, may be after the launch of Diesel model.

Tata continue to follow Tata Motor’s new Impact Design 2.0 philosophy like Harrier. Tata Gravitas measures 4661mm in length, 1894mm in width, and 1786mm in height with wheelbase 2741mm like Tata Harrier.

Tata Gravitas exterior features would be 17-inch alloy wheels, projector headlamps with LED DRLs, LED tail-lamps
Tata Gravitas interior features would be 8.8-inch touchscreen system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 9-speaker JBL sound system, automatic climate control, terrain modes, drive modes, cruise control, a coloured multi-info display, as well as keyless entry with push-button start.

Safety features include 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, electronic stability program, hill hold control, and hill descent control.

Tata Gravitas Rivals: The Gravitas will be a direct competitor to the Mahindra XUV500 and the upcoming MG Hector Plus.

Tata Gravitas is expected to be priced at 15Laksh and its rivals include the Mahindra XUV500 and upcoming MG Hector 6-seater.
